Effective 2026. This policy explains how Servora Link uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our marketplace for private chefs, indoor chefs, and wellness professionals. By continuing to use the site, you agree to the use of cookies as described here, except where your browser or settings allow you to refuse non-essential ones.
What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use related technologies such as HTTP-only session cookies, local browser storage (for example access tokens and display preferences like currency), and similar identifiers needed to run dashboards, bookings, messaging, and payments. Together we call these “cookies” in this policy.
Essential cookies
These are required for Servora Link to work securely and cannot be switched off from within the product. They include keeping you signed in (for example our refresh_token cookie used to renew access after login), protecting account sessions, routing you through checkout and escrow payment flows, remembering security choices, and load-balancing the service. Without them, login, booking, messaging, and payouts may fail.
Preference & functional cookies
These remember choices that improve your experience across customer, vendor, and admin portals — for example preferred currency display, UI state, and similar settings stored locally on your device. They are not used to advertise to you on third-party sites. You can clear them by signing out where applicable and clearing site data in your browser.
Analytics & performance
We may use first-party or privacy-conscious analytics to understand which marketing and storefront pages are used, how bookings funnel through the platform, and where errors occur, so we can improve reliability and the product. Where analytics cookies are used, they are intended to measure aggregate usage rather than to sell your personal information. You can often limit these via browser settings or extensions.
Payments & third parties
When you pay for a booking or receive payouts, payment gateways and related processors may set their own cookies or collect device data under their policies to complete PCI-compliant checkout, fraud checks, and escrow settlement. Identity/KYC providers may do the same during vendor verification. Those providers are independent controllers or processors for that data — see their notices at checkout or during KYC.
How long cookies last
Session cookies expire when you close your browser or when the session ends. Persistent cookies and stored tokens last for a set period (for example refresh sessions that keep you signed in for a limited number of days) or until you clear them. Exact lifetimes depend on the cookie and your account activity.
Managing cookies
